Of Stone and Light  ·  By Letter By Lore

Read the first letter
before you decide.

You are reading this before the exhibition opens.

That is not an accident.

The sun does not wait for permission. It arrives at the window whether or not you are ready. It finds the dust on the shelf and makes it gold. It does not apologize for the intrusion.

This is the first letter.

On June 2nd, one hundred and sixty-five boxes leave by hand. Each one carries a painting that exists nowhere else. A stone chosen for this month. A recipe for drinking the light. A card for your permanent collection.

Twelve months. Twelve rooms. Then the edition closes.

If you are still deciding — that is the correct response. The light does not rush you.

But it does not wait either.

No obligation. One letter. The exhibition opens June 2nd.
